Before switching funds it’s important to consider your options carefully. If you're unsure if a particular fund, or switching funds is right for you, please speak to a financial adviser. If you don't have a financial adviser, you can visit MoneyHelper to find the right one for you. We don't provide advice or personal recommendations and you should be comfortable with the decisions you're making. The value of an investment can fall as well as rise and isn't guaranteed. The final value of your pension pot when you come to take benefits may be less than has been paid in. You can research the funds available.
What price will I get when I switch funds?
When we receive your switch instruction, we'll allocate units to your plan at the price determined at the next valuation point. For example:
- If we receive your switch instruction before 12 noon, we'll use the bid (or fund) prices set on the next business day to carry out your switch instruction.
- If we receive your switch instruction at or after 12 noon, we'll use the bid (or fund) prices set on the second business day to carry out your switch instruction.
Weekends and bank holidays aren’t regarded as working days and there’s no trading on these days.
For full switching rules please see our Alteration of fund choice form – (PDF 200kb). If you need more information about which fund prices apply to your plan, please contact us.
